Symptom Relief

When you’re going through menopause as a result of a hysterectomy, including the removal of ovaries, uncomfortable symptoms can be disruptive make it difficult for you to be at your best. That’s where the Climara® patch comes in.

The Climara Patch Relieves Hot Flashes and Night Sweats

The once-a-week Climara patch is proven to relieve moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms, like hot flashes and night sweats, as effectively as a daily estrogen pill. And unlike the leading estrogen pill, which is made from pregnant mares’ urine, the Climara patch is made from a plant-based estrogen.

Hot flashes and night sweats can really impact your quality of life:

  • They can be disabling and draining, and can have a negative influence on your work, family life, and social relationships.
  • The most severe hot flashes usually occur at night, causing night sweats, which may disrupt sleep and lead to daytime tiredness and irritability.
  • Severe symptoms may even disrupt your daily routine.

The Climara Patch Relieves Vaginal Dryness

When estrogen decreases during surgical menopause, the vagina may become dryer and less flexible (urogenital symptoms), creating difficulties during sex and even urination. Some symptoms women may experience include:

  • Urethritis (difficulty or burning on urination)
  • Vaginal dryness, itching, and burning
  • Postcoital bleeding (bleeding after sexual activity)
  • Dyspareunia (painful sexual intercourse)

These symptoms are distressing to many women and can affect your medical, sexual, and psychological well being.

The once-a-week Climara transdermal patch is proven to treat these urogenital symptoms.
